17th January 2014 - Bricks Bricks Bricks Delivery

As SS mentioned, bricks, cement and sand were delivered Friday the 17th of January. But no further progress on the roof work as mentioned in my last note that supplier delivered wrong size sheets and tradies had to be sent home, but I was hoping to have them delivered in a day or two and then finish by Friday the 17th but unfortunately I was wrong. Saturday morning I saw tradies working on the house opposite mine, made me bit concerned why not mine. Anyways tradies will be on site again on Monday the 20th to start the brick work and hoping remaining roof sheets get delivered ASAP.

 Bricks Colour will be Pearl Grey, which will be little browney and hopefully will go with the Jasper roof 












   

As scheduled for the brick work to start from Monday the 20th January 2014, yes It started as per the schedule but only for a few hours on Monday and then Tuesday due to more rain there was no further progress except a few layers of bricks which was done Monday. Wednesday morning emailed SS and enquired if there will be any action on site, as always his response was spot on "Yes people are on site for more work" and I visited the site this evening after work, here are some photos

      Thanks Bro, but roof work was stopped due to wrong sheets. How's your handover going, any news yet?

      That's no good. I have to say we have had not a single thing gone wrong with our build. Everything as per our contract and the supervisor has been on top of things too.
